Featured as one of the premier billiard halls in NYC.
Darts and pool tables draw after-work crowds and billiards-league pros to this Gramercy hall. Between rounds, hungry players can grab bites of chicken curry puffs or Southwest turkey panini. Flatscreen TVs are in abundance, but the noise level really rises between Thursday and Saturday, when a live DJ spins a mix of indie, Top 40 and electronic beats.
Perhaps the attitude of “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” works well at Society Billiards. They seem to know that sometimes a classic pool hall is just what people need. Extremely spacious and stocked with countless pool tables, anyone looking to get lost in the game will be sure to love this dimly lit, relaxed, yet classy spot.

We are maintaining the rigorous sanitizing of our cues, menus, walls, shelves, and seats throughout the day and after each table has finished enjoying the room. Our staff and all guests will be wearing masks for your safety throughout your visit and there will be hand sanitizer at your disposal throughout the establishment. We will also be taking touch-less temperatures of our staff and each guest walking in. Following the city’s guidelines of 6ft social distancing, we are only seating the room at 50% capacity, having all guests sign a Health Declaration form upon entry, partitions throughout the room and have upgraded our air filters and existing HVAC system.
